Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG

  • Grape variety: 100% Erbaluce, in a pergola system.

  • Harvest: third ten days of September.

  • Winemaking:This dry white wine is produced from the selection of the best Erbaluce grapes grown in the Agliè (TO) area. The harvested grapes are subjected to soft pressing, fermentation and aging in steel tanks at controlled temperatures.

  • Tasting notes:at theview a pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections; in hisperfume floral hints are perceived that recall wisteria and wild flowers and a pleasant nuance of grapefruit. The grapefruit nuance is also perceptible on the palate, where we feel a fresh attack in the mouth, marked acidity and good body, the hints of white pulp fruit emerge. The tasting finish is long and persistent.

  • Suggestions and pairings:recommended serving temperature 8/10 °C. It goes well with traditional Canavese appetizers and cheeses, but also with second courses based on grilled fish, shellfish and seafood.
